Tomorrow is World Teachers day, a day that has been celebrated since 1994 by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) and Education International and was originally set up to celebrate the teaching profession and promote international standards.
Teachers for gender equality is this years very important focus.
I'm sure that you will agree that teachers can help to shape the lives of many young people, encouraging them to progress in subjects which they are good at and pointing out their strengths and weaknesses so that they can grow.Everyone remembers their favourite teacher, so why not send them a thank you e card to celebrate World Teachers day?
